Primary Responsibilities: 

• Identify, develop, and implement aviation and general decarbonization programs to deliver the desired emission reduction potential.   
• Develop subject matter expertise on carbon management, aviation sector decarbonization, carbon offsetting, nature-based solutions, and technology-based solutions 
• Build, monitor, and report the company’s Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions, including building internal emission factor databases, reduction and abatement models and calculations 
• Perform forecasting and technical analysis of emissions projections and reduction initiatives, utilizing data modeling and analytics skills to assess the impact of decarbonization levers planned and/or implemented 
• Provide technical, market, and business research to sustainability team for climate-related and carbon/emissions-related developments, policies, and regulations, as well as in support of decarbonization programs and projects 
• Ensure compliance with reportorial, regulatory, and other obligations in relation to carbon/emissions, including CORSIA and other ICAO related schemes and systems 
• Track and study the development of carbon offset standards, methodology, technology, and marketplace, keeping abreast of market landscape, including policies or trends, to meet evolving industry demands 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, business, environmental engineering or related fields 
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and simultaneously manage multiple projects 
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences 
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically 
• A high degree of autonomy, initiative and ownership, with the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment 
• Solid data management and skills, including advanced proficiency with MS Excel and a mastery of PowerPoint communication

Note: This position is for an Individual Contributor and will be based in Pasay City, Metro Manila but currently follows a hybrid workplace flexibility arrangement.
